Born in 1953 near Paris, Philippe Rivault first studied at the American school of Paris. Then in Germany, he completed an education in natural medicine (herbalist).

After some years of practice, he went to India to study Oriental Sciences, especially the art of cooking and the ancient Vedic texts under the guidance of renowned masters.

He travelled extensively between Europe, Russia, Middle East and Asia for the past 20 years, giving seminars and conferences on Indian philosophy, performing family rituals for the Indian community in Europe, coaching the opening of vegetarian restaurants, running a restaurant in eastern France, writing books - mostly in French and some in English, conducting workshops to recognize edible wild plants and cooking courses, etc. His main concern is to give to the people: “Food for the body and the spirit”.

“I hope this website: www.naturetsagesse.com will be stimulating and thoughts provoking to its readers, helping to enrich and deepen their appreciation of the wisdom of nature and the nature of wisdom. Its original is in French but the contents of both versions will be somewhat different.

I feel confident that it will give new meaning to their walk through life and help them to discover the unexpected secrets of our beautiful provinces, with its many flowers, plants, trees, fruits, roots, known as wild in the northern hemisphere (Russia, Europe, North America).

The wisdom part will be the discovery of the monotheistic school of thoughts of Vedic India, its ritual, its comparatives with other school of philosophies”.
